The Ultimate VR Gaming Workout Routine (Week 5)

The Ultimate VR Gaming Workout Routine (Week 5)
June 5, 2022 by Colin Laurencelle

Congratulations on making it to the halfway mark of The Ultimate VR Gaming Workout! Feeling good? Great. We hope you’re having as much fun as we are, and starting to feel some results. I’ve lost a few pounds myself, but what’s even better is I can feel my cardiovascular strength getting better by the week!

Now that we’ve reached this milestone, we’re going to add a few more games to the mix. This way, we can keep things fresh, and add a little extra to each workout to push us further. Keep in mind that while we recommend adding these games to the mix, you’re by no means obligated to do so. Feel free to carry on with our three original games if you’d like. But for those of you seeking an extra challenge, both games are well worth the purchase price. Grab both, or just one, it’s up to you. There’s a pretty good chance that you own one of them if you’ve got VR already. Both games are available on PCVR and Quest 2.

The games we’ll be adding to The Ultimate VR Gaming Workout are Synth Riders and Beatsaber!

Synth Riders – $24.99 USD / $28.99 CDN

Synth Riders is a game about following the flow of music. While soaring through synth-wave style environments you must keep your hands trailing the correct color. Playing songs in Synth Riders feels great, and you’ll find yourself dancing around in no time. The game comes with a huge library of free songs along with loads of extra content! This game is sure to make you move!

Chek you the latest Synth Riders Gameplay Trailer:

Beatsaber – $29.99 USD / $33.99 CDN

If you don’t know what Beatsaber is… well, I don’t believe you. Without a doubt, it’s the most recognizable VR game out there, and with good reason. W recommend it as a must-have in our article — What’s the First VR Game You Should Buy?

We’ll be adding either Synth Riders or Beatsaber to our workouts as a way to kill a few extra calories each day. Both games also have multiplayer features! So if you’re following The Ultimate VR Workout Routine with a friend, it’s a great way to challenge one another with some friendly competition.

We’re also going to increase our recommended time this week. In all honestly, the team at VRChamps has been having so much fun playing these games, we’ve been blowing past our allotted time without realizing it anyways. So if you’re playing hard, just keep going!

Lastly, we’ll be doing our active rest on Saturday and Sunday this time around. Take the weekend off, you deserve it Champs.

Week 5

  • Monday – Thrill of the Fight (45min) + Synth Riders (20min)
  • Tuesday – Until you Fall (45min) + Beatsaber (20min)
  • Wednesday – Thrill of the Fight (45min) + Synth Riders (20min)
  • Thursday- Pistol Whip (45min) + Beatsaber (20min)
  • Friday – Thrill of the Fight (45min) + Synth Riders (20min)
  • Saturday – Active Rest (Play whatever you want)
  • Sunday – Active Rest (Play whatever you want)

If you’ve only grabbed one of our additional games, it’s completely fine to substitute one for the other.

See you next week Champions!
