Releasing on Applab on June 30th, Finger Gun is a shooter that doesn’t need those pesky controllers. Get ready to take on a barrage of enemy robots as you make your way through the campaign to capture Doc Holliday and claim his treasure.
What Finger Gun does most of all, is let you relive those moments of pure imagination you had as a kid. It’s not the first-hand tracking game of its kind, but it has a certain quality to it that just brings me back to when life wasn’t so complicated, and I could go for some of that right now.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of how movement works in the game. By pulling yourself forward, it looks like you’ll be able to move to predefined nodes. We also get a look at one of the power-ups in the game, which transforms your finger pistols into hefty finger shotguns.
If you’re looking for a game to show off that makes good use of Quest 2’s hand tracking and brings out the kid in you, Finger Gun looks to be just that.
