Since its release, Horizon Worlds has only been available to US and Canadian citizens. Meta’s social platform — where users can create their own world and content — is now finally available to the UK to 18+ users. Meta has also stated that they will begin rolling out to other countries in Europe later this summer.
In addition to the UK rollout, Meta has announced a new Voice Mode which includes a feature called Garbled Voices. Turning on this feature, the voices of non-friends will come across as pleasant sounds instead. You’ll also have the ability to momentarily disable this Garbled Voices by raising your hand to your ear.

It seems Meta is determined to give users a choice on how much social interaction they want to experience in Horizon. Meta has already rolled out the Personal Boundary feature which gives you the option to reduce how close other players can come to you, up to 4 feet.
Lastly, back in April, Meta spoke to The Verge outlying its plans to also bring Horizon to mobile devices and browsers. Meta will continue to grow Horizon with the goal of creating an accessible “World Building” platform. It seems those plans are still well underway.
